After speaking with Loren today I've mistaken the data of the letter dated May 12, 2003 to be the
effective date of our extension for above permit_ Of oaurse she explainecl that the extension was
approved on April 30, 2003 and that my extension expired, Being inexperienced at this process, I'm
asking if there is any other way to renew my extension in lieu of applying for the June me~flng. We've
been applying fo~ b'lese permits for throe years and finally got the last one. The building depar~nent

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Buglion:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Thursday, June 24, 2004 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, JAMES AND EILEEN BUGLION applied to the Southold Town Trustees
for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code, the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 25, 2004, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said
application on June 24, 2004, at which time all interested persons were given an
opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the
premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the
Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the
health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of JAMES AND
EILEEN BUGLION to construct a single-family dwelling with a deck, pervious driveway,
fencing, sanitary system, a 4' wide path to the water, drywells and gutters to contain
roof runoff and all as depicted on the plan prepared by Joseph A. Ingengno last revised
May 5, 2003.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit
is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the
date of this notification.
Inspections are required at a fee of $50.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.)

Meeting held on Wednesday, April 30, 2003:

The Health Dept. is requiring that we complete a test well at that location. As this
area has already been approved for a proposed 4'wide path, I am just checking to

The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Wednesday, April 25, 2001 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, Land Use Ecological Services on behalf of JAMES & EILEEN BUGLION
applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated March 16, 2001 and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to thc Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said appl!cation on
April 25, 2001 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold
Town Code,

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of JAMES & EILEEN
BUGLION to construct a single-family dwelling (1,200 sr.), approx. 99' landward of the tidal
wetland boundary, a 540 sq.fl, deck approx. 81' landward of the tidal wetland boundary, a 6'X
10' set of steps on the south side of the dwelling approx. 75' landward of the tidal wetland
boundary, a 4'X 40' porch on the west side of the dwelling approx. 101' landward of the tidal
wetland boundary, a 8'X 10' set of steps on the west side of the dwelling approx. 120' landward
of the tidal wetland boundary, install a well approx. 50' landward of the tidal wetland boundary,
install a pervious driveway a min. of 140' landward of the wetland boundary, clear by hand a 4'
wide'path to the water and install a chain link fence approx. 35"landward of the tidal wetland
boundary, all as indicated on survey dated February 21, 2001 and last revised March 20, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees
must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project.

As per the request of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services Board of Review Headng the
applicant proposes to amend the Southold Town Trust~es Permit #5309 as follows:
- The proposed well is new located 150' from the sanitary system as opposed to 100'.
- The proposed expansion pools for the sanitary system have been relocated slightly to
the northwest requiring the proposed ddveway to take a jog 4'+/- to the west in the area
of the sanitary system.
- A 30' concrete retaining wall is proposed along the east property line 30'+/- south of the
north property line,
- The steps for the deck have been relocated to the west side of the proposed deck and
reduced to 4'x6', and a 4'x12' addition to the previously approved deck is proposed north
of the proposed steps.
As the above referenced permit is due to expire on April 30, 2003, the applicant would also like
to request to extend permit # 5309 for (1) year.
