Dear Sir:
At the May 26, 1999 meeting of the Trustees, approval was given to amend Permit #552 by the
addition of a 10-foot extension to the existing walkway. The amendment which had been applied
for was a 16-foot extension to the existing walkway.
Mr. Felix would like the Board to reconsider the original application, and we herewith apply
again for an amendment to Permit #552 allowiItg an extension of 16 feet to the existing walkway.
All the documents submitted with the original application on April I, 1999 are still valid in their
content. A new application fee of$40 is enclosed.

CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Thursday, April 15,
1999 the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Melvyn Morris, seconded by Richard Smith, it was
RESOL VED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL of the
Amendment Request for WILLIAM FELIX 136-1-39 to amend Permit #552 to construct a 4'X
16' addition to existing walkway, which will result in a walkway 4'X 52'; dock also includes
existing 3'X 10' ramp and existing 8'X 24' float. Relocate two 2-pile dolphins 16' seaward to
secure float in new location and to transfer Permit #552 rrom James Long to William Felix,
760 Oak Street, Cutchogue

Dear Mr. Ge ideman:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees durIng
their regular meeting held on August 27. 1987 regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, J. H. Geideman on behalf of James Long applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of
Southold. application dated June 15. 1987, and
WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS. a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on August 27. 1987 at which time all interested
persons wel'e given an opportunity to be heard, and no objections were raised, and
WHEREAS. the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area. and
ìvHEREAS. the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application. and
WHEREAS. the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health. safety and general welfare of the people of
the town,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT'
RESOLVED that J. H. Geideman on behalf of James Long BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED
PERl.ffSSION UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH OLD TO:
construct a 36' x 4' catwalk. a 3' x 10' ramp and a 8' x 24' float. Property is
located at 32 Oak Street. Cutchogue.

This permit will expire on August Z7. 1989 if work has
not commenced by said date. There are two inspections required and
the Trustees are to be notified upon the completion of the work.
Prior to the issuance of said permit by the Clerk, the applicant
shall file with the Clerk a certificate that he has public liability
insurance policies insuring against any liability which may arise
in the performance of the operations pursuant to such permit in such
amount as shall be fixed by the Trustees, which said policies shall
name the Town as a name insured. Please take further notice that
this declaration should not be considered a determination made for
any other department or agency which may also have an application
pending for the same or similar project.
PLEASE RETURN TO THE BUILDING DEPT. FOR A DETERMINATION ON
THE NEED OF ANY OTHER TOWN PERMITS FOR THIS PROJECT.
PLEASE REmT THE FOLLOWING FEES:
36' x 4' catwalk = 144 sq. ft. $ 144.00
3' x 10' ramp = 30 sq. ft. 30,00
