Dear Members of the Board:
In regard to the above referenced property, attached please find the following:
1. A print of the digital photos identifying areas of concern; and
2. A survey of the existing site conditions, dated 03Dec04.
As of 18Oct04, rlh Land Planning Services, Inc. is authorized to act as agent for
Principi Properties, LLC, owner of the above referenced property. See attachment.
The site is currently improved with a restaurant and apartments above, parking and
septic system. The property has been abandoned for a number of years, but was
recently acquired by my client.
Efforts have been made to attempt repair of the existing structure from within, not
wanting to disturb the soils or grading around the existing structure. However,
issues relating to the foundation have been identified and therefore must be
addressed.
Therefore, we respectfully request emergency permit approval to address the
following issues:
1. Securing of the foundation. This includes any foundation repair and
maintenance;
2. Repair, replacement and rebuilding of existing footings; and
3. Bulkhead repair and maintenance.
We are mindful of our relative proximity to the water and will take every precaution
necessary to not contaminate or pollute in any way imaginable.
If for any reason, additional information is required to process this request in a
timely manner, pleas contact me as soon as possible.
