Dear Ms. Pizzarelli:
I am returning your request for a waiver of the subdivision moratorium because it
is incomplete. Several attempts have been made to reach you by telephone to
advise you of this matter. You neglected to include the $250 filing fee and only
enclosed five (5) copies of the survey instead of nine (9) copies as required. I
would have made the extra copies of the survey to expedite the request but
unfortunately I cannot move the application along without the proper fee. Please
do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions concerning this matter.

We are writing to you to apply for a waiver to split over property at PO BOX214
Indian Neck Lane.
Peter Pizzarelli, owner of the property passed away tragically and suddenly on July
13, 1996, during Hurricane Bertha. His passing has created major hardship on his wife
,Marie Pizzarelli ( married for 40 years. ) and her 98 year old mother, Ann Gioscia who
lives in the cottage.They have lived at this residance for 30 years and find it very, very,
very difficult to have to leave, unless we can split this property.
As a result we are requesting a waiver to be able to split the property to keep it in the
family and not have to uproot and move his wife Marie Pizzarelli and her elderly
handicapped mother Ann Gioscia from the premises on Indian Neck Lane.
We understand that there is a 2 acre minimum. We want to split the more than 3 acre
proprerty with one parcel being 2 acres and than leaving the cottage on the
remaining acreage. The cottage is self sufficiant with its own well and would allow
Marie Pizzarelli and Anna Gioscia to remain living on her own property. We seriously
do not want to loose this waterfront property.
We would like the Southold Town Board to take the oppertunity to grant us this waiver
as this is not a request with normal circumstances at all.
