Dear Glenn:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during a Regular Meeting, held on May 24,2000, regarding the
above matter.
WHEREAS, ELIZABETH DANIELS, applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated April 25,
2000, and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on May 24, 2000, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that
will not affect the health, safety and
people of the town,
the project as proposed
general welfare of the
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application to
res heath the .front of bulkhead, with the condition that we need
plans showing that. Pilings will not be moved. Apply for or
show proof of a permit for the structure.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete proiect will expire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Monday, May 22,
2000, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Jaclyn VanBourgondien, seconded by Abby Cochran, it was
RESOL VED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL of the
Wetland Permit Application of ELIZABETH DANIELS 58-2-12 to reconstruct inkind/inplace
+/-50' of timber bulkhead and backfill with +/-5 cy, of clean sand which shall be trucked in from
an upland source.
