Dear Mr. Strang,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during a Regular Meeting, held on May 26, 1999, regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, BUDD'S POND REALTY & WILLIAM LIEBLEIN, applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the
Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated
April 9, 1998 and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on May 26, 1999, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
BUDD'S POND REALTY & WILLIAM LIEBLEIN to construct a 40' X 250'
building for indoor boat storage.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete proiect will expire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

Dear Madam or Sir:
At your request, the freshwater wetland boundary wu recently delineated on the above-referenced
property. It was madced with orange plastic flagging tape labeled "Wetland Boundary."
The Freshwater'WetIands Act, Article 24 of the Environmental Conservation Law, regulates most
activities within 100 feet of this boundary. Should you apply for a permit your site plan must depict the
wetland boundary as located by a licensed surveyor. We strongly recommend you hire a surveyor to
plot the wetland boundary. The boundary should be labeled, verbatim, on the survey or sitc plan as
follows:

In addition, any subnùttcd site plan should also show a line clearly labeled as "linút of clearing and
ground disturbance". In order to initiate the formal permit application process; you will need to contact
the Division of Environmental Permits here at Stony Brook (S 16) 444-0365. Before you file an
application, howevCl', we strongly recommend that you meet with US to discuss your plans. Our
experience has shown Us that such "pre-application conferences" save all involved parties both time and
money.
