Dear Mr. Herrmann
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Truslees during a Regular Meeling, held
on September 25, 2002, regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, En-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of Donald Vazquez applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
application dated August 29th, 2002
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council for their findings and recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
September 25, 2002 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general welfare of the people of the town.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approved the application of Donald Vazquez for a
Wetland Permit to construct on a piling foundation a Iwo story, one family dwelling with
attached garage, porch and deck with drywells and gutters clean an area up to 50' from the
freshwater wetland boundary, and establish a 50 foot wide non-disturbance fertilization buffer to
remain natural and undisturbed adjacent to the wetland boundary erect a shed connect to public
water service, placement of250 cubic yards offill, installation ofa septic system pervious
driveway and drywells.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Fee must be paid, if applicable and permit issued within six months of the date ofthis
notification.
If inspections are required, at a fee of$5.00 per inspection (See attached schedule).

Pursuant to Artie Foster's recommendation during the September 25th public hearing on the
captioned permit; the surveyor's recalculation of the fill volume needed for the septic system;
and my subsequent conversation with Mr. Foster, please fmd enclosed (3) copies of a site plan,
which has been modified to indicate that approximately 250 cubic yards of fill will be required
for the septic system.
By copy of this letter and revised site plan, I am notifying the New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation of this change.
Should you require any additional information before a permit can be released, please let me
know at your earliest convenience.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Monday,
September 23, 2002, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Drew Dillingham, seconded by Bob Ghosio, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees DISAPPROVAL of
the Wetland Permit Application of DOMAtD VAZQUEZ to construct on a piling
foundation a two-story, one-family dwelling with attached garage, porch, and deck; clear
an area up to 50' from the freshwater wetland boundary; and establish a 50' wide non-
disturbance/non-fertilization buffer to remain natural and undisturbed adjacent to the
wetland boundary.
Located: 2360 North Sea Dr., Southold. SCTM#54-5-1
The CAC recommends Disapproval of the application because the area is a valuable
wetlands resource.
