SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD
March 1, 2005

POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
93. Amend resolution V59, adopted February 15, 2005 Town Board meeting to add a provider
(Fox Run Farms) for the Spring 2005 recreation programs.
94. Authorize modification to the 2005 Solid Waste District budget for payloader maintenance.
95.
Request the enactment of Senate Bill No. 189 and Assembly Bill No. A. 124 entitled "AN
ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to the limitations on amounts to be raised by
taxes for the purchase of certain highway equipment".
96. Authorize modification to the General Whole Town 2005 budget for Contracted Services -
Land stewardship/management.
97.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute all necessary documents in connection
with the Town of Southold final application FY2004 to the U.S. Department of
Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration for airport improvement at Fishers Island
Elizabeth Field.
98. Accept the bid of Stevens for two light duty Dump Trucks, a 2004 F450 and a 2003 F350.
99. Declare that certain used computer equipment to be unusable and approve disposal of it.
100. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2005 budget to appropriate funds
for live scan fingerprinting equipment.
101. Grant permission to the American Diabetes Association to use various town roads from
Laurel to Orient for their "Tour de Cure" on June 12, 2005.
102. Set 5:00 p.m., March 29, 2005, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to Site Plan Fee Schedule".
103.
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to transmit the proposed "A Local Law in relation to
Amendments to Site Plan Fee Schedule" to the Planning Board and Suffolk County
Department of Planning for their recommendations and reports.
104. Enact "A Local Law in relation to Creation of a Transfer of Development Rights Chapter
87 of the Code of the Town of Southold".
105. Determine that "A Local Law in relation to the Sidewalks chapter of the Southold Town
Code" is a Type II Action and not subject to review pursuant to SEQRA.
