Dear Mr. Crawley,
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of
Trustees at their Regular Meeting on August 25, 1999:
RESOLVED, that the $outhold Town Board of Trustees grant a
Waiver to renovate two existing bathrooms and kitchen, replace
existing roof, renovate second floor bedroom, replace north wall
with new structural framing and glazing, and replace jack
columns in basement with structural pipe columns, with condition
that if any excavation is to be done that haybales be placed
around pond area. Located: 15155 North Road, East Marion.
However, this determination is not a determination from any
other agency.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Thursday, August 12,
1999, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Scott Hilary, seconded by Richard Smith, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL of the
Waiver Request of PAUL & JUDITH FRIED 23-1-4 to renovate two existing bathrooms and
kitchen, replace existing roofi'renovate existing upstairs bedroom, replace North wall with
structural framing and glazing, and replace jack columns in the basement with structural pipe
columns.

Dear Board of Trustees,
On behalf of Paul & Judith Fried, we respectfully request a letter of waiver for the work to be performed at
their property located at15155 North Road East Marion, New York (tax map #1000-23-01-04). A description
of the scope of the project is as follows:
1. Renovation of two existing bathrooms and kitchen
2. Replacement of existing roof: material, structural framing, and insulation to
comply with applicable codes.
3. Renovation of upstairs bedroom.
4. Replacement of North wall with new structural framing and glazing.
5. Replacement of jack columns in the basement with structural pipe columns.
Included is a survey of the property and check for $40.00 (forty dollars) to process our application.
It is our understanding that an inspection will take place a week prior to the August 25~' review. We would be
available to meet and walk through the property at that time if such is required.
