However any activity within 100' of the Wetland line and/or seaward of the Coastal Erosion Hazard Line, would require action from this office. This determination is not a determination from any other agency. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call. Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL The following recommendation was made at the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held August 24, 1998: WR-116 JAMES R. tII/ILKINS, JR. 21-2-17.1 to construct an 8' x 10' landing near the edge of the cliff; a series of wooden stairs leading down the slope and a set of steps that will extend about 25' down from the edge of the cliff to the stones on the beach below. 585 Aquaview Avenue, East Marion No comment, the CAC did not make an inspection. Mr. and Mrs. James R. Wilkins Jr. 585 Aquaview Ave. East Marion, NY 11939 ~/' ? ?" 8/5/98 From: Mr. and Mrs. James R. Wilkins Jr. To: Southold Town Trustees Subject: Request for Waiver We hereby request a waiver to permit our installing a small (8'x 10') landing near the edge of the clifton our property at 585 Aquaview Avenue, East Marion, 11939, a series of wooden stairs leading down a natural slope and a set of steps that will extend about 25 feet down from the edge of the cliffto the stones on the Sound Beach below. These will replace, but not in the same location or design, steps that led from the top of the bank to the beach below a number of years ago. A rough plat of the property and the legal description from which it was prepared are attached for information. Although two Surveyors and Mr. Colin Van Tuyl have been contacted in order to get a copy of an existing plat or a new survey, none of these efforts have been successful because of the current worl~load of those contacted. Rough sketches of the intended design of the landing and steps are also attached. Your approval of this request will allow us a much easier access to the beach area which we own, and at our age this will be greatly appreciated. Yours truly, James R.
