Dear Dr. Gordon:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of
Trustees at their Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, July 19,
2000:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees grant the
request for a Waiver to DAVID H. GORDON to install a 3' fence,
to enclose a dog run. The fence will begin at the pool fence,
go 10-12' down the slope, go left for about 30' and go left
again up the slope towards the house. There will be a gate
between the fence and the house allowing passage along the
house, as indicated on survey last revised December 7,
1993.
This approval does not constitute approvals from any other
agency.

SOUTHOLD TOWN
CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Tuesday, July 11,
2000, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Melvyn Morris, seconded by Bill McDermott, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAl, WITH A
CONDITION of the Waiver Request of DAVID H. GORDON 123-3-10 to construct a 3' fence
to enclose a dog run, which will go about 10-12' down the slope toward the creek and to include
a gate between the fence and the house allowing for passage along the house.

The CAC recommends Approval with the condition that the fence be brought-up to the top of the
slope. The CAC questions clearing on the property within 75'.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
Motion Carried
