The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the survey dated January 17, 2001 and received
in our office on June 13, 2001 and determined that the construction ora one family dxvelling and
assoctated improvements, as per plans submitted to be out oft_he Wetland jurisdiction, under
Chapter 97 of the Town Wetland Code.
However, any activity xvithin 100' of the Wetland line would require permits from this office.
This determination is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Mr. Krupski:
We represent Anthony and Norma Romano, who are in comract to purchase the captioned
property from Nancy Lee Wellin. The Romanos plan to construct a one-family dwelling and
associated improvements, as depicted on the enclosed site plan prepared by Harold F. Tranchon
Jr., dated 17 January 2001.
As all work will occur more than 100' landward of the vegetated tidal wetland boundary
associated with Mattituck Creek and thus beyond the jurisdiction of the Southold Trustees
pursuant to Southold Town Code Chapter 97, would you kindly issue a letter of non-jurisdiction
for the project. The applicants are aware that any project-associated clearing that would occur
less than 100' from the xvetiand boundary requires a Wetland Permit from the Board of Trustees.
The following items are also enclosed for your reference:
1. A copy of Sufiblk County Hagstrom Map #25, indicating the approximate location of the
subject property.
2. Photographs taken 27 November 2000, depicting the subject property and adjacent tidal
wetlands.
3. A letter signed by Mr. and Mrs. Romano, authorizing En-Consultants. Inc. to act as their
agent.
4. A letter signed by Nancy Lee Wellin, the current owner of the parcel, authorizing the
Romanos and Eh-Consultants, [nc. to make such application.
