Box 743 Mattituck NY 11952 RE: JOSEPH ROBINSON · SCTM #113-9-2.1 Dear Mr. Kowalski, The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the survey dated and received in our office on March 6, 1999 and an on-site inspection was made of said property, and determined that the renovations and additions to an existing house to be out of the Trustee Wetland jurisdiction, under Chapter 97, of the Town Code. However, any activity within 75' of the Wetland line would require permits from this office. This determination is not a determination from any other agency. Also enclosed are: A) Photographs. B) Maps of proposed areas and existing topographical infom~ation, setbacks, etc. C) Copy of County Tax Map of the area. D) Former owner's survey. E) Sketch of proposed deck and patio ground construction. The areas of construction are proposed is at least 100 feet from mean high water, and at the elevation of the existing dwelling (or higher ground). The properly slopes from the east side of the dwelling (which line is 15.5 feet above mean sea level), to~vards the north and west sides (10.5 ft. above MSL). In order to be able to start some of the minor construction work (such as cellar entry, gazebo) please let tis know' if a letter of non- jurisdiction may be issued (either in part or in whole), since those areas are landward of the comers of the dwelling. A Letter of Non-Jurisdiction is requested for the following project, all of which is proposed more than 75 feet from mean high water and 10 ft.+ area elevation boundaries: Re-build existing 28 ft. enclosed porch plus add one foot extension north of existing (28' x 10' instead of 28' x 9'). Build raised patio with stone wall (semi-circle design) at north end of porch (20 ft. by 28 ft. wide). Patio will not extend beyond easterly side of dwelling. Build side 6' x 10' wide catercomer stairs, west side of proposed patio; save large red cedar. Build raised wood deck along west side of dwelling (20 ft. x 40'+- long) with rear stairs. Build cellar entry on east side of house landward of porch (near center house); Gazebo to be located in upper easterly yard area landward of house (15 elev. above MSL).
