From: Cantrell, Elizabeth Sent: Thursday, December 04, 2014 9:19 AM To: Hulse, Lori Subject: Assistance with revising C&R's &Permit Hi Lori, Jim Pape was in this morning, he owns a property in Mattituck which is under contract to be sold. In 2000,the Trustees issued a dock permit for(2)6'x20'floats with a condition that no dock on his abutting property can be applied for/built without first reducing the two floats to one 6'x20'on the property with the dock permit. This condition was placed in C&R's for both properties. Mr. Pape wants to reduce the floats and clear up this condition before the one property is sold in 30 days. I understand he would have to amend his permit to reduce his float size, but I have no idea what, if anything what he may have to do to modify the C&R's. I have attached the permit and the C&R's for your review. If you can be of any help, I would appreciate it. A ' PRESIDENT, BOARD OF TRUSTEES BY: '0 Qn ir1Q1(ly zL RX, BOARD OF TRUSTEES 4/98 FEB 2 2490 ' ' J; TOA OF Dear Mr. Krupski, I object to the size and scope of item number 10 of the upcoming hearing of February 24 (SCTM#114-11-7.2) because: -The size of the proposed dock is exceptionally large considering the relative size of the waterway at the proposed site; -The need for 3 floats at the location is questionable in consideration of above; -There is no need to remove a 100foot by 100foot area of mature native trees to allow for a modest-sized dock; and, -Why must the area be disturbed by replacement with beach sand? Again, this has no relavence to installation of a properly-sized dock, and it's elimination would pose no hardship to the land owners. I strongly encourage the Trustees to deny this application, or, at a minimum, reduce it's scope to a reasonable size and eliminate the removal of existing vegetation and installation of beach sand.
