Dear Mr. Fabb:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during a Regular Meeting, held
on November 21,2000. regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, STEVEN FABB applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated August 29,
2000 and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
November 21, 2000 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97 -18 of the Southold
Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approved the application of STEVEN FABB
for a Wetland Permit for a maximum 6'x20' float, ramp 21 '10"x3' and catwalk 67'8". The
Board denies two floats 6'xI6'5"
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if
applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.

Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified when project is started and on
completion of said project.

revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said Board.
5. That there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as . result of the work

6. That there shall be no interference with the right of Ibe public to pass and repass dong
the beach between high and low water marks.

7. That if future operations of the Town of Southold require the remova1 and/or dteratioas
in the location of the work herein anthorized, or if, in Ibe opinion of the Board of TrusteeS, the.
work shall cause unreasonable obstruCtIon to free navigation, the said Permittee will be required,
upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without upenses to the Town
of Southold.
8. That the said Board will be notified by the Permittee ot the completion of the work aulb-

At the meeting of the SOllthold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Tuesday, September
12,2000, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Melvyn Morris, seconded by Ken Meskill, it was
RESOLVED to Table the Wetland Permit Application of..inVEN FABB 99-4-22 for two 6'X

16' floats connected at the middle to make an overa1l6'X 32' float, 3'X 21' 10", 4'X 67'8" dock
with steps at the beginning. The floating dock has 4 piles and the fixed dock has 14 pilings.
