Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971-0959 Telephone ~ 63 i) 765-1892 Fax (631) 765-I366 June 25, 2001 BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD Mr. David Corwin 639 Main St. Greenport, NY 11944 RE: RUSSELL HILBERT 2125 Cedar Lane, East Marion SCTM#37-4-6 Dear Mr. Corwin: The Board of Tovm Trustees took the tbllowing action during its regular meeting held on Thursday, June 21. 2001 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, David Convin on behalf of RUSSELL HILBERT applied to the Southold Toxvn Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 22. 200l, and, WHERE.\S, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Adviso .fy Council for their ,'Sndings and reconunendations, and, WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees ~vith respect to said application on June 2 I, 200 l, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and. WHEREAS, the Board members have personally vie~ved and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WI-[EREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code. WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of RUSSELL HILBERT to construct 4l linear ft. ofne~v bulkhead 18" in front of existing deteriorated bulkhead, backfill with 11 cy. of clean sand fill, with the condition that the non-turf buffer is maintained and that vinyl is used rather than treated timber. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct and complete project will expire nvo years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
