Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Thursday, June 21, 2001 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, Proper-T Permit Services on behalf of AMELIA SMULCHESKI applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town
of Southold, application dated May 30, 2001, and,
WHEREAS, said application xvas referred to the Southold To~vn Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
June 21, 2001, at xvhich time all interested persons ~vere given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally vie~ved and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies xvith the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold
Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of AMELIA SMULCHESKI
for the existing onewstory wood frame dwelling 24'X 28', wood frame garage 10'X 24', concrete
grade-level patio 9'X 14', wood deck built on top of concrete patio 9'X 14', 50' concrete
bulkhead, wood steps to grade on sea,yard side of bulkhead, wire mesh fences on both property
lines to the landward side of the concrete bulkhead, with the condition that the debris from the
dock is removed from the wetlands.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees
must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Counci held Tuesday,
June 12, 2001, the following recommendation was made:

wood frame garage 10'× 24', concrete grade-level patio 9'X 14', wood deck built on top
of concrete patio 9'X 14', 50' concrete bulkhead, wood steps to grade on seaward side

bulkhead. No new excavation or construction is proposed.
