WHEREAS, Samuels & Steelman Architect on behalf of Seth & Barbara Eichler applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated September 26th, 2003 WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation AdvisoW Council for their findings and recommendations, and WltEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on November 19th, 2003 at which time all interested persons xvere given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, 2 WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code. WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, Safety and general welfare of the people of the tovm. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees Approved the Wetland Pemfit for SETH & BARBARA EICHLER to add second floor to existing single story frame house, a new in ground pool with a drywell for the pool back wash also to include repair of existing wood steps on bluff and deck.. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Fee must be paid, if applicable and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. If inspections are required, at a fee of $5.00 per inspection (See attached schedule). Enclosed you will find three copies of our SITE PLAN, revised as follows: The dilapidated deck located seaward of the CEHL has been removed, and the stairs leading to the beach reconfigured to lead to the top of the existing retaining wall, which is shown to be repaired. A swimming pool with terrace has been added, landward of the CEHL. Please re-open the hearing for this project at your November 19th meeting, and, if possible, approve the application.
