Previous actions by Gusmar, including construction of a four foot cement wall along, and regrading of, the entire length of the land running adjacent to Crescent Beach has resulted in major flooding on our property, and necessitated major capital expenditures on our pan to 'alleviate (but not eliminate) the problem. Not once did Town officials offer any redress. We have no desire to interefere with an appropriate eft'on on the part of our neighbors to maintain and beautify their property. However, we request that the Board set specific guidelines to protect our property from h~creased flood risk tm a result of this applicant's projects. We also request information on what redress we may have if these guidelines are not adhered to. We cannot Mit)rd to and will not bear significant additional financial bm-den as the result of approved or unapproved actions by our neighbors. We will seek every level of relief to which due process avails us.
