Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Telephone (516) 765-1892 Fax (516) 765-1823 BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD May 26, 1995, MYLES SCHNEIDER Knolls Circle East Marion, NY 11939 Re: SCTM #37-5-11 Dear Mr. Schneider, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on May 25, 1995 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, MYLES SCHNEIDER, applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated April 25, 1995, and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on May 25, 1995, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, /'. . . RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of MYLES SCHNEIDER, to construct a 16' X 16' deck with a 3' wide walkway from deck to side door, add a 4' X 4' platform with a 3' X 10' ramp leading to the existing 5' X 26' float, and to Grandfather the 5' X 26' float and bulkhead. Located: Knoll Circle, East Marion. Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the upon completion of said project. Also the CAC's approval for the enclosure on the east side of the garage is subject to zoning regulations. All other aspects of the application are approved as submitted. (plus (2) 15' returns) of stone revetment using 3-5 ton stone on 100-1000 core, 10-50 lb. blanket. Approx. 375 c.y. of clean sand will be trucked in for backfill. A 12' wide area of revetment will be made suitable for a boat launching ramp for owner's private use. 1090 latham lane, Orient Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. No. 1257 Moved by Robert Keith, seconded by Patricia Isaksen, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees the following for the Wetland Application of ARTHUR AXBERG, Jr. 123-5-34 for A. Proposed 37' x 27' x 10' renovation and two story additions to existing one story residence. Existing house to be raised 24". B. Proposed timber bulkhead to replace existing timber bulkhead. The CAC recommends APPROVAL OF THE RENOVATION TO HOUSE as submitted. The CAC recommends APPROVAL WITH PROVISIONS OF THE BULKHEAD. The CAC approves provided the bulkhead is replaced within 18" of existing bulkhead and if applicant wishes, it can be higher to match the neighbor to the west.
