Dear Mrs. Terry:
The following action was taken by the Conservation Advisory
Council at a regular meeting held Tuesday, June 26, 1984 .
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Bjoard approval of
the wetland application #202 submitted by Costello Marine Contract-
ing Corp. on behalf of Anthony Tamburrino to construct 100 ' wooded
CCA bulkhead above MHW and backfill with 150 cu. yds. sand to be
trucked in. Southold.
The Conservation Advisory Council has recommended that the

if there is any further dredging in that area. Spartina grass
should be planted around the return. All spoil should be re-
moved and placed upland to protect the area from any further
erosion.
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval
of -the wetland application #205 submitted by Thomas D. MacDougall
to construct a deck and ramp.
Respectfully submitted,
FRANK CICHANOWICZ, CHAIRMAN

In response to your letter of May 15, 1984 in which
you suggested that we stake the Tamburrino property so that

We would appreciate an early decision in this matter as
we have already obtained the DEC and Army Corps permits and

Dear George:
I have been advised by Mr. Edward Hindermann of the Southold Town
Building Department that there are definitely wetlands on the above
captioned property.
However, he states that he is unable to make a determination as to
whether or not the proposed bulkhead will be on wetlands due to the
fact that the site plan as submitted contains no dimensions of setback
of this proposed construction from property lines.
In view of this fact , he suggests that it would be helpful if the
contractor were to stake the property showing the exact location of
proposed bulkhead and returns so that a determination may be made.
Very truly yours, ,

With regard to the above captioned matter we have been

In your response of April 23, 1984, you do not specifically

property. Please advise at your very earliest convenience.

Dear Mrs . Terry:
Mr . Lessard has asked me to determine if a wetlands
permit is necessary for proposed bulkhead for the above .
I visited the site today. There is considerable
erosion to the upland area adjacent to beach . It would
appear that bulkhead is necessary to prevent further
erosion .
It is difficult to make a determination from site plan
submitted since there are no dimensions of set back of
this construction from property lines . In view of this it
would be helpful if the contractor were to stake the pro-
perty showing exact location of proposed bulkhead and returns

Dear Mrs. Terry:
We are writing on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Tamburrino
in response to your letter to them dated January 6, 1984
in regard to a proposed groin and bulkhead at their property
in Bay Haven.
The bulkhead is going to be constructed well upland of
the high water mark on their own property and will not touch
any wetlands at all. They have also decided not to proceed
with the groin. Therefore, we take exception to the letter
from your office stating that the Tamburrino' s will have to
secure a Wetland Permit.
Enclosed for information is a copy of the proposed plans
and also a copy of your Janizary letter.
