Meeting held on Wednesday, June 18,2003:
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Trustees grants a One-Year Extension to Wetland
Permit #5357 to construct a single-family residence with the condition of a 20' non-turf buffer
landward of the bulkhead, gutters and drywells to contain the roof run-off, and as depicted on the
survey prepared by John T. Metzger dated February 6, 2000 and last revised September II,
2000.
This is not an approval fÌ'om any other agency.

Dear Ms. Kramer:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Thursday, June 21, 2001 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, VALERIE KRAMER applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under
the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of South old, application dated May 8,
2001, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council
for their fmdings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
June 21, 2001, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold
Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,

RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of V ALERIE KRAMER to
construct a single- family residence, as per survey dated February 6, 2000, and last revised
September 11,2000, with the condition of a 20' non-turf buffer landward of the bulkhead and
gutters and drywells on the house to contain the roof run-off.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.

Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years ITom the date it is signed. Fees
must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project.

However, the area all along the bulkhead should be left with a

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling with decks, driveway and
septic system. The house is proposed within 21 feet of the tidal wetlands and the septic
system is proposed within 90 feet of the tidal wetlands at the site. Variances from the 75
foot minimum setback for structures, and 100 foot setback for septic systems from the
tidal wetlands have been requested. The project is located on the east side of Robinson

I request permission to clear my lot on Manhanset Avenue in Greenport as listed above.
I had the lot cleared by a bulldozer in 1984 after I bought the lot. It is again overgrown with
underbrush and wild trees. I would like to have a bulldozer level the whole property so I can
plant grass.
I am enclosing a 1989 copy of a survey I had done. I will update the survey after I clear
the lot.

.. Structures for Small Boats: That permittee hereby recognizes the possibility that the structure permitted herein may be
subject to damage by wave wash from passing v...els. The i.su8.DC8 of this permit does not relieve the permittee from taking all
proper steps to insure the integrity of the structure permitted herein and the safety of boats moored thereto from damage by
.ave wash and the permittee shall not hold the United States liable for any such damage.
MAINTENANCE DIEDGING:
a. That when the work authorized herein includes periodic maintenance dredging, it may be perfo.rmed under this permit
for 1 9 (tc A ) years from the date of issuance of this permit (ten )',ar. unll.. otherwise indicated);
b. That the permittee will advise the District Engineer in writing at least two weeks before he intends to undertake any
. maintenance dredging.
DISCHARGES OF DIEDGED 01 fiLL MA TEIIAL INTO WATERS OF THE UNITED STATES:
a. That the discharge will be carried out in conformity with the goals and objectives of the EPA Guidelinea established pur-
luant to Section 404Cb) of the Clean Water Act and published in 40 CFR 230;
b. That the dilcharge will con~i8t of suitable material free from toxic pollutaDts in todc amounts.
c. That the fill created by the discharge will be properly maintained to prevent erosion and other non-point sources of pollu-
tion.
DISPOSAL O' DREDGED MA TEIIAL INTO OCEAN WATERS:
a. That the disposal will be carried out in conformity with the goall, objective., and requirements of the EPA criteria
established pursuant to Section 102 of the Marine Protection, R..earch and Sanctuaries Act of 1972, publilhed in 40 CFR 220-
228.
b. That the permittee shall place a copy of this permit in a conspicuous place in the velSel to be used for the transportation
and! or disposal of the dredged material as authorized herein.
This permit shall become effective on the date of the District Engineer's signature.
