Scripps, ~ #1000-104-3-6 Dear Board Of Trustees. This letter is written to object to .the Application for Permit to reorient the subject dock to extend further out toward the dredged channel. We had no objection to the ori9inal dock design because it extended a minimum distance out into the creek and toward the dredged channel. We were happy for the owner that it was approved because it provided an adequate dock. had minimal impact on the environment and adjacent neighbors, and did not go further than necessary out into the creek at its narrowest point where boats will be coming and going. ----- . The "80' of channel width" shown on the drawing is misleading; the navigable width is much less than 80'. This appears to be a situation where the owner obtains approval for the existing dock as step one and then attempts to further expand his facility' into' the natural 'environment while decreasing the width of navigable water.
