Dear Mr. Tsirnikas,

The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during a Regular Meeting, held on July 21, 1999, regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, GEORGE & DEMETRA TSIRNIKAS, applied to the southold
Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated June 25,
1999 and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the southold Town
conservation Advisory council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on July 21, 1999, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of

GEORGE & DEMETRA TSIRNIKAS for the clearing of dead trees,
poison ivy and garbage on property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete proiect will expire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

I am requesting an on site field inspection for verification of fresh water
wetlands. Also please put me on your calendar for OctobE1 27th. Board of
Trustees work session.

I will also be calling on Chris Pickerall to flag our land.
My husband George and I are experiencing a problem with Suffolk County
Parks Work Department They are requesting .585 acres ,)'f our land to
install a sump to solve Rt. 48 and Queens Street flooding problems. The
half acre in question is our fresh water wetlands.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

No. 48 as shown on Map No.1 and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southerly boundary of the existing CR 48,
Middle Road at the intersection of the said boundary with the division line between
the lands of George and Demetra Tsirnikas, reputed owners on the east and the
lands of Sidney D, Cymbalsky, reputed owner on the west; said point being 548.85
feet distant easterly as measured along the southerly side of Middle Road (C.R. 48)
from the intersection of the easterly side of Queen Street, thence, along the first
mentioned boundary N 55 ° 01' 50" E 20.00 feet to a point; thence, through the lands
of George and Demetra Tsirnikas, reputed owners, the following three courses and
distances:
1) S 34° 58' 50" E 162.65 feet to a point;
2) S 75° 21' 40" E 49.05 feet to a point. and;
3) S 14° 38' 20" W 20.00 feet to a point on the division line between the lands of
George and Demetra Tsirnikas, reputed owners on the east and the lands of,
Sidney D. Cymbalsky reputed owner on the west, thence along said division line
the following two courses and distances:
1) N 75° 21' 40" W 56.40 feet to a point and
2) N 34° 58' 50" W 170.00 feet to the point of beginning; being 4,381± Sq, Ft. or
0,101 acres more or less.
The above easement is a permanent easement.
