Dear Mr. Just:
The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the site plan dated November 12, 2001
and determined the proposed sanitary system to be out of the Wetland jurisdiction
under Chapter 97 of the Town Wetland Code.
However, any activity within 100' of a Wetland line would require further review from this
office.
This determination is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Mr. Krupski:
At the present time we are seeking a" Letter of Non-Jurisdiction" to allow
for the construction of a sanitary system at the above noted property.
The proposed sanitary system shall be located greater than 100 feet landward
of the freshwater wetlands as located by the staff of the N.Y.S.D.E.C. For
your review we have enclosed three (3) copies of the site plans for the project
prepared by CME/CPK Design Group last revised 5/18/02. As always please
feel free to contact our office at any time should you have any comments or
questions regarding this request.

Dear Mr. Just:
Based on the information you have submitted, the New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation has determined that the proposal to construct a sanitary
system as per the attached site plans drawn by CME/CPK Design Group (last revised
on 5/18/02) is more than 100 feet from regulated freshwater wetlands.
Therefore, no permit is required under the Freshwater Wetlands Act (Adicle 24 of the
Environmental Conservation Law).
Please be advised, that all construction, clearing, excavation, filling or other ground
disturbance must remain more than 100 feet from the freshwater wetland boundary.
Also, any additional work or modification to the project as described, may require
authorization by this Department. Please contact this office if such are contemplated.
Please be further advised that this letter does not relieve you of the responsibility of
obtaining any necessary permits or approvals from other agencies.
