APPLICATION
To the Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold, in
the County of Suffolk and State of New York:
The undersigned petitioner, LOUIS HODOR, resides at 145 Aragon
Avenue, Coral Gables, Florida, liable to be assessed for highway taxes
in the Town of Southold, hereby apply to the Town Superintendent of
Highwa~ys to lay out new highways and drainage area at Southold, in the
Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York as follows:
1. Th~ highway is known as SILVER COLT ROAD, as shown and
designated on a certain map entitled, "Map of Oregon View Estates", and
filed in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on April 4, 1975
as Map No. 6241.
2. The highway known as FUTURE ROAD, as shown and designated
on a certain map entitled, "Map of Oregon View Estates", and filed
in the Office of the Clerk of the Couuty of Suffolk on April 4, 1975 as
Map No. 6241.
3. The highway is known as HORSESHOE DRIVE, as shown and
designated on a certain map entitled, "Map of Oregon View Estates", and
filed in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on April 4, 1975
as Map No. 6241.
4. The highway is known as OLD SADDLE LANE, as shown and
designated on a certain map entitled, "Map of Oregon View Estates", and
filed in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on April 4, 1975

A map of said proposed highways, recharge basin, 20' drainage ease-
ment and10U25'by 100' parcels at end of adjacent streets reserved for
possible future highway dedication, has been made by Young & Young,
Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and is annexed hereto and
made a part of the aPplication, together with a release and application to
the Town of Southold by the petitioner herein, over whose property said
highways, recharge basin, drainage easement and parcels at end of
adjacent streets reserved for possible future highway dedication are to .~un.

WRITTEN application having been duly made to me, the Town Super-
intendent of Highways for the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
for the laying out of Town Highways in the said Town of Southold, and
recharge basin and drainage areas in the said Town of Southold by
LOUIS HODOR, liable to be assessed for highway taxes in said Town, and
a dedication and release from damage having been executed, acknowledged
and delivered by the owners of the land through which the proposed high-
ways, drainage areas, and recharge basin are proposed to be laid out,
a copy of which is hereto annexed, and nothing having been paid to any
claim for such damages:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, the Town Superintendent of Highways of the
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, DO HEREBY DETERMINE
AND ORDER that the town highways and drainage area be and the same are,
hereby laid out at Southold in the Town of Southold as follows:
1. The highway known as SILVER COLT ROAD, As shown and
designated on a certain map entitled, "Map of Oregon View Estates", and
filed in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on April 4, 1975
as Map No. 6241.
2. The highway is known as FUTURE ROAD, as shown and designated
on a certain map entitled "Map of Oregon View Estates", and filed in the

sion owners, I made an inspection on $he above date..
My report o~ JanuarY ll, 1979 covered this project for
final.inspection except for-~ome grading at the replaced
asphalt gutter, at the recharge basin and at part of ~he
shoulder area of th'e easterly t~rnaround on Gold Spur Street.
The grading at th~ gUtter'and sho~lder'area has been com- -./:.

Also, the berm on the north side. of the turnaround at Old
Saddle Lane has been replac'ed the second time. The farm
road~there apparently had been used again to get on the
subdivision pavement. ~nring the recent heavy rains ·sand
and silt was washed into the pavement area. 'l his material
has been removed.
With all work now completed, i recommend release of the
perfprmance bond. ..
