The reasons stated for the denial of the building permit application is that the additions will have setbacks at less than 10 feet on a single side, less than 25 feet for total side yards, less than 100 feet from the bank or bluff adjacent to the Long Island Sound, and the lot coverage will exceed the code limitation of 20 percent.
