RE: SCTM ~18-6-21.8
Dear Ms. Hooke & Mc Donough,
The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the survey dated
and received in our office on November 8, 1999 and determined
that the construction of a single family dwelling to be out of
the Trustee Wetland jurisdiction, under Chapter 97, of the Town
Wetland code.
However, any activity within 75' of the wetland line would
require permits from this office.
However, this determination is not a determination from any
other agency.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to
call.
Sincerely,
Albert J. Krupski, Jr.

Dear Ms. Herbert:
We are requesting a letter of non-jurisdiction from the Southold Town Board of Trustees in connection
xx4th obtaining a building permit for property we are trying to purchase in Orient, NY.
The current owners of the property, Anna and Seymour White, authorized the Department of
Environmental Conservation to mark the wetland, and the DEC marked the wetland this summer. We
are sending a copy of the survey showing the wetland and the proposed location of the house.
As the building permit is a contingency of purchase, we are sending a copy of the contract of sale for the
property as well·
Please send us the letter as soon as possible. Please call at the above telephone numbers if there is any
question concerning this request.
Thank you for },our attention to this matter.
Sincgtely yours,/
Helen Hooke
