CONSERV ATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
A meeting of the South old Town Conservation Advisory Council was held Monday,
December 6, 1999. The following recommendations were made:
Moved by Ken Meskill, seconded by Richard Smith, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees DISAPPROVAL of
the Wetland Permit Application of E.M. KONTOKOSTA 51-1-2&3 to install 150 I.f. of

line. Proposed bulkhead will be backfilled with approx. 110 c.y. of clean fill. Resultant
area (approx. 1,450 s.f.) will be planted with Cape American Beach Grass on IS"
centers.

The CAC recommends Disapproval and requests that they explore vegetation
alternatives. The scouring is due to the bulkhead to the east and a new bulkhead would
have the same affect on the neighbor to the west.
