SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD

POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
859. Designate the Stewart-Roache House, 15505 Main Road, Mattituck, as a Southold Town
Landmark.
860. Authorize a 3% wage increase for listed full-time Fishers Island Ferry District personnel.
861. Declare the following vehicles to be surplus equipment: 1998 Ford Crown Victoria VIN
2FAFP71W5WX163146 and 1998 Ford Crown Victoria VIN 2FAFP71W1WX163144,
and authorize the Town Clerk to advertise same (not drivable parts only).
862. Authorize modification to the 2004 Highway Fund Whole Town budget to cover over-
expended line items.
863. Authorize modification to the 2004 General Fund Whole Town budget to cover over-
expended appropriation line items in the Town Board's budget.
864. Create the position of Groundskeeper II and establish the hourly salary scale.

865. Appoint Jean T. DeLorme to the position of full time Senior Citizen Aide II at the Nutrition
Center.
866. Accept the resignation of Ellen Carbonell, Senior Citizen Aide II.
867. Appoint Jayne Martin to a temporary full-time position of Clerk Typist.
868. Accept the bid of Nassau-Suffolk Truck for completing repairs on a waste haul transfer
trailer for the Solid Waste District.
869. Authorize modification to the 2004 General Fund Whole Town budget for equipment and
supplies in the Recreation Department.
870. Authorize modification to the 2004 General Fund Whole Town budget for vehicle
maintenance & repairs.
871. Authorize modification to the 2004 Solid Waste District budget for various services and
equipment.
872. Release employee from employment at the Southold Town Human Resource Center,
effective December 3, 2004.
873. Appoint Shayla Smith as a full-time Home Health Aide at the Human Resource Center.
874. Determine that the proposed decommissioning of the scavenger waste facility will not
result in a significant effect on the environment and adopt a Negative Declaration pursuant
to SEQRA.
875. Determine that the proposed "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to the Site Plan
Approval Law" is a Type II Action and is not subject to further review pursuant to SEQRA.
876. Determine that the proposed "A Local Law in relation to Stop Signs on Elijah's Lane" is a
Type II Action and is not subject to further review pursuant to SEQRA.
877. Authorize modification to the 2004 General Fund Part Town budget for planning
consultant expenses.
878. Appoint Sabrina Born as a part-time Clerk in the Southold Town Tax Receiver's Office.
879. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute the necessary forms with regard to the
Elizabeth Field Airport Apron and Taxiway for Partial Payment Requests.

880. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a lease agreement with Innovative
Mailing & Shipping Systems for the rental of their postal machine.
881. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with THE VAR, L.L.C.
for the purchase of a new 15 Server for the Police Department.
882. Appoint Francisco De'Paz as temporary full-time Cook at the Nutrition Center.
883. Appoint Deon Shedrick to the position of full-time Custodial Worker I.
884. Appoint Christa Grant to the position of part-time Student Intern in the Town Clerk's
Office.
885. Accept the Irrevocable Letter of Credit #170000360, in the amount of $26,075, issued by
the Bridgehampton National Bank for the performance bond in the Conservation
Subdivision known as Mill Creek Preserve.
886. Appoint Francesca Quintieri as temporary full-time Clerk Typist in the Office of the Town
Clerk.
887. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town Budget for part-time employees.
888. Set 8:00 p.m., December 28, 2004, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local Law to amend the Street Excavations chapter of the Town Code of the
Town of Southold".
889. Enact "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to the Site Plan Approval Law".
890. Enact "A Local Law in relation to Stop Signs on Elijah's Lane".
891. Authorize the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the supply and installation of overhead
garage doors at the Highway Department.
