Dear Mr. & Mrs. Cordasci:
You have requested a permit extension for your Trustee Permit #5087 in a
timely manner. Because of the wetland setback the Town Trustees inspected
the property on December 12th, 2001 and again on January 16, 2002.
To satisfy the permit #5087 you need to re-establish the non-disturbed buffer
between the road and the wetland. Currently part of the buffer is used as a
driveway. The buffer can easily be restored, as explained in ¡he field on
January 16, 2002, by using the logs on site to prevent vehicular traffic. The
area then can be planted or allowed to re-vegetate naturally. Once this is
completed the Town Trustees permit could be considered satisfied.

The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular
Meeting held on November 30, 1999, regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, MICHAEL J. CORDASCI, applied to the Soutbold Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application
dated September 14, 1999, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said
application on November 30, 1999, at which time all interested persons were given an
opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familia with the
premises in question and the surrounding area, and,

fixed catwalk (to be elevated 4' above marsh grade); a 3'X 20' hinged ramp; and a 6'X
30' float (v,ith a 4'X 4' extension for ramp), to be secured by (2) two-pile (8" diameter)
dolphins. Dock will be constructed over owner's privately-owned ~nderwater parcel,
known as SCTM#IOOO-57-1-39.2

linear ft. of vinyl low-sill bulkhead and create approx. 930 sq. ft. of illltertidal marsh
landward thereof by placing approx. 75 c.y_ of clean sand fill to be tnicked in from an
upland source and planted with Spartina aJtemiflora (12" on center) on a 1:7 slope.
Remove existing I O'X 35' fixed timber dock and associated pilings a :td construct a fixed
timber dock, consisting of a 4'X 28' fixed catwalk (elevated a minimum of 4' above
proposed marsh grade); a 3'X 14' ramp; and a 6'X 20' float to be sec\ilred by (2) 8"
diameter pilings.
