The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Albert
Martocchia, 16 South Street,.Greenport, New,York, at 3:00 P.M.,

Moved by Justice Suter, seconded'by Councilman Rich, it was
RESOLVED that the minutes~cf the ~Southotd 'Town Board meeting held
on July 30, 1974 be-approved as submitted..

Moved by Councilman Homan, seconded by Councilman Rich, it was
RESOLVED that the next meeting of the ~SQ~hold Town Board will be
held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 13, 1974 at ~Fishers Island
School, Fishers Island, New York. Boat to leave Ctaudio~ dock,
Greenport at 9:00 A.M.

Rich, Councilman Homan, Justice Suter, Justice Demarest, Justice
Doyen.
Moved by Councilman Homan, seconded by Councilman Rich, it was
RESOLVED that General bills in the amount of $17,914.69; Fishers
Island Ferry District bills in the amount of $25,272.86; Highway
bills in the amount of $25,965.72; Federal Revenue Sharing bills
in the amount of $190.50; and Special Districts Fund bills in the
amount of $5,240.20, be and the sam~eare hereby ordered paid.

Rich, Councilman Homan, Justice Suter, Justice Demarest, Justice
Doyen.
Moved by Councilman Homan, seconded by Councilman Rich, it was
RESOLVED that the reports of Supervisor Martocchia, Building
Inspector, Justice Suter and the Town Clerk for the month of
July 1974 be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file.

On motion of Justice Surer, seconded by Justice Demarest, it was
RESOLVED tb~t Supervisor Martocchia be and he hereby is authorized
to enter into a lease with Ruth King for Justice Demarest's office
at Orient, at $600.00 per year.

Moved by Councilman Homan, seconded by Councilman Rich,
WHEREAS Terrance A. Krisman, Director of the Southold Town Narcotics
Guidance Council has submitted his resignation to the Town Clerk
effective August 7, 1974,

Moved by Justice Doyen, seconded by Justice Suter,
WHEREAS Joanne-M. Wall applied to the Town Board for a single
tra~ler permit da-ted June 22, 1974,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application of Joanne M.
Wall to locate a single trailer on the Peninsula at Fishers Island,
New York be and hereby is denied as there is no water or sanitary
facilities available, therefore it would not meet the requirements
of the Department of Health.
Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Supervisor Maktocchia, Councilman
Rich, Councilman Homan, Justice Suter, Justice Demarest, Justice
Doyen.
On motion of Justice Doyen, seconded by Councilman Homan, it was
RESOLVED that Alfred R. Grebe Sr., Fishers Island, New York, be
appointed for one year as a member of the Planning Board of the
Town of Southold, with approval of the Civil Service Commission.

Rich, Councilman Homan, Justice Suter, Justice Demarest, Justice
Doyen.
Moved by Councilman Rich, seconded by Councilman Homan, it was
RESOLVED that the Sodhhold Town Board authorizes the payment of
$690.00 for the use of three buses to transport Southold Senior
Citizens to Ocean Grove, New Jersey on September 12, 1974.

Moved by Justice Suter, seconded by Justice Demarest, it was
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board authorizes payment of $260.00
for the use of two buses to transport Mattituck Senior Citizens
to Old Westbury, New York on September 18, 1974.

Moved by Justice Demarest, seconded by Councilman Rich, it was
RESOLVED that Supervisor Albert M. Martocchia write letters of
thank-you to the New York State Transportation Department for the
fine work done in resurfacing Dam Pond Bridge at East Marion.

Moved by Councilman Rich, seconded by Councilman Homan, it was
RESOLVED that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of
the Town of South01d at the Supervisor's Office, 16 South Street,
Greenport, New York on the 27th day of August, 1974 at 7:30 P.M.,
in the matter of the application of Rev. Donald P. Brickley for
a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town
of Southold for the purpose of excavating and filling port~s of
his pooperty at 75 Broadwaters Road, Cutchogue, New'Ybrk. Ail
persons interested in said matter shall appear at the time and
place above specified and will be given an opportunity to be heard.

On mOtion of Councilman Homan, seconded by Justice Demarest,
WHEREAS the Southold T0%rn Planning Board and Suffolk County Department
of Planning have prepared official reports and recommendations on
the application of Louis Zaino and Armando Sardelli for a change of'
zone from "A" Residential and Agricu-ltura, 1 Di.strict to 'B-i"
General Business District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public, hearing will be held
by the Southold Town Board at 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 27, 1974,
at 16 South Street, Greenport, New York on the abovementioned
petition, and that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized
and directed to cause notice of said hearing to be published in
the official newspaper pursuant to the requirements of law.

WHEREAS Edmund Bokina applied to the Town Board for a single trailer
permit for farm labor, application dated July 26, 1974,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application of Edmund
Bokina to locate a single trailer on ~eased land on the north side
of Main Road, LaQrel, New York, for housing farm labor, be and hereby
zs granted for a period ~beginning August.26, 1974 through November
1,~ 1974, subject to the approval of the Board of Appeals ~unde,r
Section 300, Subsection B, 8(a)..

Moved by Justice Suter, seconded by Justice Demarest, it was
RESOLVED that $12,000.00 be transferred from Item 7020~1 Recreation
Administration Personal Services to Item 7020,4 Recreation Administration
Contractual ExPenses.

Mr. David Driscoll, So~thold, New York, appeared before the Town
Board asking that they request Long Island Cablevision to tape the
proceedings of its meetings and carry the tape on one of i.ts
channels at a time to be determined by the parties concerned.

Moved by Councilman Homan, seconded by Councilman Rich, it was
RESOLVED that th~Town Board meeting be adjourned at 3:45 p.M.
