A 16.6 x 10' addition and a 14.2' x 12' deck are I~roposed 90' and 96',
resl3ectivelv, from the vegetative tidal wetlands along Jockey Creek; and 65.6' and
56.5', resl~ectively, from the existing bulkhead.

No impact to wetlands are anticipated from the project as proposed for the
following reasons. (1) All structures have been setback from the landward
edge of vegetated tidal wetlands a minimum distance of 90 feet. (2) No
activities are proposed within 90 feet of vegetated wet[ands, thereby
providine for the preservation of all wetlands in total. Furthermore, all
construction is to take place within areas fomerlv landscaped so that no
natural adjacent area whatsoever will be disturbed.

Dear Mr. Anderson,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on November 22, 1996, regarding
the above matter:
WHEREAS, LOIS T. ANDERSON applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated Oct. 30,
1996, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the So=thold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recon~nendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on November 22, 1996, at which time
all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
W~EREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
LOIS T. ANDERSON to construct a 16.6' X 10' addition and a 14.2'
X 12' deck onto an existing dwelling.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,, and permit
issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

November 13, 1996 the following recommendation was made:

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of the Wetland Application of LOIS T. ANDERSON ]~0-~-~5.5 to construct a
16.6' x 10' addition and lit.2' x 12' deck onto existing dwelling.
