Dear Mr. Anderson:
The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the survey dated August 19, 1996 and last
revised April 10, 2000 and determined the proposed addition on the east side of the house to be
out of the Wetland jurisdiction under Chapter 97 of the Town Weft and Code.
However, any activity within 100' of the Wetland line would require permits from this office.
This determination is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Mr. Krupski,
This Firm represents Lois Anderson who is seeking to construct an addition to her
existing dwelling. The proposed dwelling is to be sited 119 feet from the landward edge
of tidal wetlands and thus is beyond the currem jurisdiction of~our Board. Previously,
your Board approved an addition constructed off the western p~.rtion of the dwelling see
wetlands permit # 4672 and accompanying survey. In that permit process, the wetland
line was confirmed.
Enclosed herewith please find a survey of the parcel prepared by Joseph A.
Ingegno last dated April 10, 2000 which shows the location of the proposed easterly
addition. By way of this correspondence, I request a letter of non-jurisdiction for the
easterly addition as it is sited 119 feet landward of the wetland 3oundary.

Dear Mr. Anderson,
The following action was taken by the Board o~ Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on November 2~, 1996, regarding
the above matter:
WHEREAS, LOIS T. ANDERSON applied to the Sou~hold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions oflthe Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated Oct. 30,
1996, and, I
WHEREAS, said application was referred to theIsouthold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findihgs and
recommendations, and,~
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Tow~ Trustees with
respect to said application on November 22, 1996, at which time
all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally vigwed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the stand~rd set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves/the application of
LOIS T. ANDERSON to construct a 16.6' X 10' a~dition and a 14.2'
X 12' deck onto an existing dwelling. ~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determinatio~ should not be
considered a determination made for any othe~Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit
issued within six months of the date of this lotification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.
