WAIVER OF NOTICE OF TOW~ BOARD FLEETING
We, tl~e undersigned, being members of the Town Board of the Town of
Southo~ld, County of Suffolk and State of New York, do hereby severally
waive notice of the time, place and purpose of the meeting of the Town
Boa~-d ~to be held at Greenport, in the TOWn of Southold, New York on
December 27, 1960, and do hereby consent that the same be held on said
date for the transaction of any business wh-ich may properly come before
Said meeting.

A special meeting of the Southold Town Board was held at the Supervisor's
office, 16 south Street, Greenport, N,Y. on Tuesday~ December 27, 1960,
,the 'members of the Board having waived notice of the time, place and
purpose of the meeting. The meeting was called to order by the Board at
7:30 P.M. with the following present: Councilmen Albertson and Demarest;
Justices Tuthill and Clark; Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED: That'Councilman Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is des-
ignated to act as temporary chairman of this Town Board meeting in the
absence of the Supervisor.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-COuncilman Albertson and Councilman Demarest;
Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest:
WHEREAS, Henry ~. Tuthill, Supervisor of the Town of Southold, died on
December 23, 1960, and
WHEREAS, Section 105 of the Town Law provides that the Supervisor shall
account to the Town Board for all monies received and disbursed by the
Supervisor on or after the 28th day of December but not later than the
31st day of December in each year and
WHEREAS, the TOWn Board deems it necessary to engage a public accountant
to prepare the aforesaid annual account for the Supervis°r,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board engage the services
of Joseph M. Cunningham, a public accountant to make the annual a~dit
of the bOoks, records, receipts and other documents of the SUPervisor
ofthe Town of Southold for the fiscal~year 1960.
VoteOf Town Board: Ayes-Councilmen Alber=son and Demarest; Justices
Tuthill and Clark.
