SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD OF APPEALS
July 10, 1962
A meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals was held
at the call of the Chairman at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 10,
1962, Town Clerk Office~ Main Road, Southold, New York.
There were present: Messrs. Robert W. Gillispie, Jr.,
Chairman, Herbert Rosenberg and Charles Grigonis, Jr.
Absent: Messrs. Robert Bergen and Serge Doyen, Jr.
On motion of Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it
was
RESOLVED that the Board of Appeals set 7:30 P.M., (EiDi~S.T.)
Thursday, July 19~ 1962, Town Clerk Office, Main Road, Southold~
New York as time and place for hearing upon application of Valentine
Ruch~ and Jacob Van Dyke, Jr., private road and Route 27 A, Southotd,
New York~ for recognition of access in accordance with State of'New
York Town Law Section 280A. Location of property: private road
(Arshamomaque Colony Road), Southold~ New York, bounded north by
H. A. Kolm, east by V. Ruch, south by I. G. Pitman and west by
Arshamomaque Colony Road. Fee paid $5.00.

Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie, Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mro Grigonis.
On motion of Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr. Rosenberg, it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Appeals set 7:45 P.M. (E.RoS.T.),
Thursday, July 19, 1962, Town Office, Main Road~ Southold, New York
as time and place for hearing upon application of Estate of William
H. Wasson, 120 Court Street, Riverhead, New York, for recognition of
access in accordance with State of New York Town Law Section 280A.
Location of property: south side Peconic Bay Boulevard, Laurel, New
York, bounded north by other land of Wasson Estate, east by land of
Haley, south by Peconic Bay~ and west by land of~Stalzer.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mro Gillispie~ Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
On motion of Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Appeals set 8:~5 P.M. (E.D.S.T.)~
Thursday, July 19, 1962, Town Clerk Office~ Main Road~ Southold~ New
York as time and place for hearing upon application of E. Kenneth
Tabor, Orchard Street, Orient~ New York, for a special exception in
accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article X, Section 1003A, for
permission to enlarge existing labor camp facilities. Location of
property: south side Orchard Street, Orient, New York, bounded north
by Orchard Street, south by.Percy Douglass, east by E. K. Jagger and
west by H. G. Tabor Estate.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie, Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
It was further resolved that legal notice of hearing be published
in the official newspaper on July 12, 1962.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie, Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
Meeting adjourned at 1:30 P.M.
