POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

State of New York, Office of General Services, Division of Real Estate Planning, Notice of
Submerged Lands License for Belvedere Property Management to construct and maintain a
private-use ferry terminal for a term of 10 years under the waters of Cutchogue Harbor,
New Suffolk, Town of Southold.
2. Notice of Town Trustees setting dates of scallop season in Southold Town: October 1, 2001
- October 14, 2001 dip net or scalp net for non-commercial only; October 15, 2001 - March
31, 2002 all gear permitted pursuant to Chapter 77 of the Southold Town Code.

1. Request from Village of Greenport for $575,253 for Mitchell Park
2. Local Waterfront Revitalization Program environmental review (10:45 a.m.)
3. Revision of contract w/East End Supervisors and Mayors Transportation Coordinator
(10:45 a.m.)
4. Possible relocation of Scavenger Waste Plant - per Councilman Romanelli
5. Laurel Links Subdivision & Site Plan (10:45 a.m.)

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
656. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute agreements with Verizon Network
Integration for a new frame relay network.
657. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a lease agreement with the Fishers
Island School District for leasing of municipal tennis courts.
658. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2001 budget for legal settlement.
659. Determine that a change in zone for property identified as SCTM #1000-74-4-14.1
(Skrezec) from R-40 to LB is an unlisted action pursuant to SEQRA Rules & Regulations.
660. Determine that a change in zone for property identified as SCTM #1000-122-3-10
(Amerada Hess) from M-1 to B is an unlisted action pursuant to SEQRA Rules &
Regulations.
661 Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget for legal experts.
662. Grant permission for certain police officers to attend the SNAP Long Island Conference
October 9, 2001 in Huntington.
663. Rescind resolution #381 granting permission to Lt. Flatley to attend the NYS Police
Homicide Seminar on September 22, 2001, as the seminar has been cancelled.
664. Determine that the construction of a storm water detention facility and fishpond would have
no significant adverse impact the environment.
665. Determine that the Fishers Island Sewer District rent owed by Thomas Doherty shall be
levied against his real property and collected at the same time as Town taxes.
666. Determine that the Fishers Island Sewer District rent owed by Susan and Kevin Connelly
shall be levied against their real property and collected at the same time as Town taxes.

Appoint Joanne Lucas to the position of Detention Attendant at the Police Department.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget to appropriate
donated funds for the new animal shelter.
Accept proposal of H2M for professional services in preparing RFP for new animal shelter.
Engage the professional engineering services of H2M to prepare a proposal for the planning,
design, placement and permitting of the Scavenger Waste Tank.
Invite the Greenport Village to designate a representative to serve on our Parks and
Recreation Committee.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2001 budget to provide 100
additional hours for the Fire Marshal.
Set 5:02 p.m., October 9, 2001, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on accepting 20+ acres of woodland from H. Damianos in accordance with Chapter
6, Southold Town Code.
Determine that the adoption of the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan would have no
significant adverse impact on the environment.
Approve the performance bond for the Laurel Links subdivision.
Request NYS DOT to do a traffic survey concerning "right hand turn only" at corner of
Oaklawn Avenue and Route 25, Southold.
