Public Comment
Discontinue practice of 2025 to allow non-resident parking permits at beaches: trial program;the public
feedback was negative it will expire.
Approval of Sept. 11 and Sept 25 minutes 3-0 approval(Pat 1st Steve 2nd)

Motion to close public hearing to pierce the cap Municipal Law 3-c (see attached)

Resolution 2025-029: WHEREAS, upon due and proper notice, published in accordance with the law, a
proposed budget was open for inspection by the public and a public hearing was held on September 11,
2025 and September 25, 2025 and interested taxpayers were given the opportunity to file or register
any objections to said proposed budget, and;THEREFORE, a Local Law was is adopted by the Board of
Commissioners authorizing override of the tax cap as authorized by law. 3-0(Pat 1st Steve 2nd)
Resolution 2025-030:The Board of Commissioners hereby adopts the 2026 budget and directs the Clerk
of the Board or its representative to publish and file same with the Town Clerk of the Town of Southold.

Resolution 2025-031: Approve the alteration and repair of the boardwalk at Nassau Point Causeway
Beach to include the trimming of overhanging boards for the length of the boardwalk and
repair/replacement of broken or warped boards along the length of the boardwalk and sitting area at a
cost of approximately$1,500. 3-0(Pat 1st Xavier 2nd)
