Public Hearing to Pierce Cap
Old Business Kealin Park was cleaned up, sign replaced in Spring to preserve it.
Donation from Allison Family.
Discussion on playground choices at Allison Park, over$115,000.
Diagram was shared
Regulation was explained; swing currently not in compliance, need 16 feet
Sand base is no longer acceptable, if not replaced the park would have to accept all liability.
Budget constraints discussed, discussion about possible Piece Mealing the playground, look for
donations, or float a bond were discussed.
Types of bases discussed: Pea gravel, wood chips and poured rubber ($35 per sq. foot)
