To whom it may concern,
This letter is to confirm that based on observations of the site by my staff, and to the best
of my knowledge, belief, and professional judgement, the rear wood frame deck and
foundation are in conformance with standard building practices and applicable building
codes. The 8" concrete sonotube footers are a sufficient replacement for the 10" concrete
sonotubes called for on the submitted plans. The 14" dia. concrete footers called for on
the plans are built and installed correctly. The deck framing is built as called for on the
submitted plans and the strapping appears to be sufficient on the joists and girders.
