SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD OF APPEALS
May 1, 1962
A meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals was held
at the Call of the Chairman at t: 00 P.M., Tuesday, May 1, 1962
at the Town Clerk Office~ Main Road, Southold, New York.
There were present: Messrs. Robert W. Gillispie, Jr.,
Chairman, Herbert Rosenberg~ and Charles Grigonis, Jr.
Absent: Messrso Robert Bergen, and Serge Doyen~ Jr.
On motion of Mr. Gillispie~ seconded by Mro Rosenberg~ it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Appeals set 8:45 P.M. (E.D.S.T.)~
Thursday, May 10, 1962, Town Clerk Office~ Main Road, Southold~ New
York as time and place for hearing upon application of Edwin H. King,
Main Road, orient, New York~ for recognition of access in accordance
with the mew York State Law, Section 280A. Location of property:
private right-of-way, south side of Main Road, Orient Point~ New York,
property bounded north by otherland of Edwin H. King, east by private
right-of-way, south by otherland of Edwin Ho King, and west by Ao N.

vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie~ Mro Rosenberg~ and
Mr. Grigonis.
On motion of Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr. Rosenberg~ it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Appeals set 9:00 P.M. (E.D.S.T.)~
Thursday, May 10~ 1962, Town Clerk Office~ Main Road~ Southold~ New
York, as time and place for hearing upon application of Frank Horn,
Island view Lane, Greenport, New York~ for recognition of access in
accordance with State of New York Town Law~ Section 280A. Location
of property: east side private right-of-way~ off Island View Lane~
Greenport, New York, property bounded north by Martocci, east by
Peconic Bay~ south by other land of Fo E. Horn, and west by private
right0f-way.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie~ Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
On motion of Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. Gillispie, it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Appeals set 9:15 P.M. (E~D.S.T.)~
Thursday, May 10~ 1962, Town Clerk Office, Main Road, Southold, New
York, as time and place for hearing upon application of Estate of
William H. Wasson by John Ao o~Keeffe~ 120 Court Street, Riverhead,
New York~ for a variance in accordance with the Zoning Or~inance~
Article X~ Section 1000A~ for permission to divide property into
two parcels~ leaving one parcel with reduced frontage. Location of
property: south side Peconic Bay Boulevard, Laurel~ New York, bounded
north by~Peconic Bay Boulevard~ east by other land of William Wasson
Estat~ south by Great Peco~ic Bay, and west by land of Stalzer.
vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie~ Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr° Grigonis.
It was Further-RESOLVED that legal notice of hearing be
published in the official newspaper on May 3, 1962.
