o In order to reside in a housing unit of any kind in this district, one must:
1. Be employed working on Fishers Island for an average of 30 hours
per week in a job requiring their presence on the island (i.e. no
working for a company virtually from Fishers)
2. A spouse, significant other, and children are all allowed to reside
within the zoning district with the qualified employee resident.
case, a special Hamlet Residential zoning for workforce housing at the Gatehouse Lots
and selected other HR zones on Fishers Island may be appropriate.
