A public hearing was held by the Southold To~ Board at Village Hall
in Greenport, on Wednesday~ May 28, 1958, at 7:30 P.M. with the follow-
lng present: Supervisor Klipp; Councilmen Albertson and Demarest;
Justices TUthill and Clark; SUpt. of Highways Price; Town Attorney Tasker
and ToWn Clerk Booth.
This hearing was on the proposal to amend the Building Zone Ordinance
4ofL~the ~Town of Southold by changing from "~" Residential and Agricultural
District to "M" Multiple Residence District on a parcel of land in
Arshamomaque, property of Perry E. Bendicksen'and a parcel of land out-
side the Village of Greenport, property of Harry Smith, also a TEailer
Court, propert~ ?f Jonathon T. 0verton at Southoldo The hearing Was
duly closed at 8:1'5 P.M.. The minutes of this' hearing were recorded by
George~Lederle.

~nd he hereby ~s authorized to contribute half of the cost up to but not
to exceed the sum of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($~50.00) towards
the cost of dredging anoutlet to Peconic Bay from James Creek at
Mattituck, N.Y. providing they obtain a permit from the Southold Town
Trustees.

W~IEREAS~ Chapter 713 of the La~of the S~ate of New York provides
that the Town Board of the Town bf Southold, Suffolk County, New York
may establish a park district in the Town of Southold to be administered
by~e separate board of park district commissioners pursuant to the pro-
visions of Article 13 of the Town Law, and
W~HEREAS~ the Town Board is now desirous of establishing a park district
i~ said town in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 713 of the
Laws of 1958~ and the ~ppropriate provisions of Article 12 o~ the Town
Law,
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED
1.~hat the T0~n Board of the Town of Southold does hereby establish
a parkdistrictlih ~he Town of Southold to be~known as TH~ CUTCHOGUE~
NEW SUFFOLK PARK DISTRICT.
2. That the boundaries of said district shall be as described in a
detailed description attached hereto~ which boundaries are intended
to coincide ~ith the present boundaries of the Cutchogue Fire District.
3. That the affairs~ of said park district shall be administered by the
Town Board~Of Southold until the first annual election of a separate
board of commissioners of said park district.
~ ~at after the ~irst annual election of commissioners of the park
district p~lrsuant ~0 Article 13 of the Town Law, the provisions of
Article 13 O~ the TOwn Law shall be spplicahle to such park dist~t
and i~he affairs thereof shall be administered in the manner therein
provided.
5. THat thi's"resolution is edopted subject to a permissive referendum
pursuant to the provisions of Section 91 of the Town Law.
