The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Councilmen Albertson and Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark; SuPt.'of Highways Price and Town Clerk Booth. BUDGET NOTE 1958 The TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, in the County of Suffolk~ State of New York~ hereby acknowledges itself indebted and for value received promises to pay The North Fork Bank & Trust Co.~ Mattituck, N.Y. the sum of SEVENTEEN HUNDRED ($1,700.00) DOLLARS on the 20th d~y of May~ 1959~ together with interest thereon from the d~te hereof at ~he rate of three per centum (3%) per annum, payable at maturity. Both principal of and interest on this note will be paid in lawful money of the United States of America, at the Office of the Supervisor~ Greenport, Suffolk County, New York. BE IT RESOLVED: this 20th day of May, 1958~ by the Town Board of the Town of Southold Suffolk County, New Y~rk, as follows: SECTION 1. That$~pursuant to the provisions of subdivision (n) of Se0tion 29°00 of the Local Finance Law of the State of New York, for the purpose of paying the Town's share of the cost of retroactive social security coverage provided to its policemen pursuant to Section l~8-a of the Retirement and Social Security Law of the State of New York~ the same being an expenditure for which no provision has been made in the current annual budget of the Tov~ of S'outhold, there is hereby authoriZed to be issued a Budget Note ot the Town of Southold in the principal sum of $t,700.OO which is the maximum cost of such object or purpose, which note shall mature on May 20, 1959, SECTION 2. STENSEN requesting a change, modif- ication and amendment of the Building Zone Ordinance including the Build- ing Zone Maps made a part thereof by changing fr~m~"A~ Agric. & Residential District to "B" Business District the property described in said petition, and WHEREAS~ said petition was duly referred to the Planning Board for its investigation, recommendation and report, and its report having been filed ~ith the Town Board, and thereafter, a public hearing in relation to said petition having been held by the Town Board on the 21st day of JsBuary~ 1958~ and due deliberation having been had thereon NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the relief demanded in said petition be, snd it hereby is GRANTED.
