Hi Heather,
As the rezoning process continues, we wanted to put in a request for a change of zone to the 10-acre
property that Peconic Community School resides on: 27685 Main Road Cutchogue. In order for small
non-profits such as our to remain sustainable long term, flexibility is essential. The current zoning of the
property is R-40. The properties to the north and east of PCS are HMUII. We feel that it is logical for the
school property to be rezoned to match this zoning to allow for greater usage for the school in the event
other programming or activities would help support the mission and work of the school. As such, we'd
like to formally request a zone change from R-40 to HMUII for 27685 Main Road, Cutchogue.
