Q1: General Feedback: Do you feel the proposed zoning updates reflect the
needs of your community?
No / Don't change the zoning on Brecknock Hall parcel from R80 to HD. This property was
represented as community center and is run more like a catering hall. There are homes
around this property that have been there before Peconic Landing made this a catering hall.
The music and amplified announcer noise makes neighboring homes unuseable in the
summer months on event nights. Don't allow them additional useage. Stop!
Q2: Land Use & Zoning: Do these updates make sense for how you want to see
land used in Southold?
No
Q3: Which zoning rules or land-use changes—if any—don’t work for you?
