Q1: General Feedback: Do you feel the proposed zoning updates reflect the
needs of your community?
No / I am increasingly concerned about the provision to allow Multiple Dwellings as of right
in AE, R-40 and R-80 zones. There don't seem to be enough guardrails surrounding this
provision. It is not clear, aside from density, what the limits would be on the size and type of
structure that could be built. The result could be structures that are wildly out of character
for a neighborhood. In addition, I do not think that this was sufficiently addressed in any
of the public meetings. This is not something to gloss over- it could have major unintended
consequences with very negative impacts.
