Motion made by Craig Arm, seconded by Fred Lee, to accept meeting minutes of August 3, 2004. Motion carried 4/0. (Eric Keil abstained) Motion made by John Sepenoski, seconded by Fred Lee, to accept meeting minutes of August 24, 2004. Motion carried 4/0. (Eric Keil abstained) Inquiries: · TUTHILL PROPERTIES SCTM # Location: Total Acreage: Zoned: CPF: 1000-17-6-14.1; 14.2 and others Orient 35.22 acres R-80 Yes Tim Caufield, of Peconic Land Trust, discussed his meeting with Reggie and Ruth Tuthill for the sale (development rights) of the Orient causeway farm, the property north of the causeway farm that runs to LI Sound (possibility for a small family compound), and two additional farm parcels located east of these parcels. The owners are interested in a potential installment sale suggested by John Irwin, Esq. and his accountant partner. Mr. Irwin and his partner will be meeting with Supervisor Horton and Tim Caufield on Thursday, September 2nd to promote "installment sales" by the Town. Melanie directed to invite John Irwin to a Land Preservation Committee meeting to present his proposal regarding installment sales/insurance policy. WESNOFSKEPROPERTY SCTM # 1000-69-4-8.1 Location: s/s CR 48, Peconic Total Acreage: 8.23 acres Zoned: A-C CPF: Yes Review letter/inquiry received from a potential purchaser with request to separate house from farm and to build a house in back of existing farm lot. LPC members standing by previous decision to not create another lot as this is a small acreage farm. Applications: The members entered into EXECUTIVE SESSION. · KRUPSKI PROPERTY: SCTM #: 1000-95-4-9 Location: 8900 Oregon Road, Cutchogue Total Acreage: +6.09 acres Zoned: A-C CPF: Yes SCTM #: 1000-95-4-10 Location: 7155 Depot Depot Lane, Cutchogue Total Acreage: +19.58 acres Zoned: A-C CPF: Yes Reviewed status of contract with Tim Caufield of Peconic Land Trust. PLT has signed contract with property owner. RENDELPROPERTY SCTM # 1000-53-2-4 Location: Pipe's Cove area Total Acreage: 3.35 acres (wetlands) Zoned: LI CPF: Yes Reviewed status of offer. Randy Parsons of The Nature Conservancy would like members to review the original offer. No action taken at this time. General: Review in detail MS status report and outreach process [executive session] Melissa distributed copies of her complete status reports. Discussion began with "dormant" list of properties that LPC had made offers to property owners and interest letters will be sent to some property owners, personal visits made to others. Discussions will continue at next LPC meeting.
