MOTION was made by Ray Blum, seconded by Craig Arm, to accept minutes of July 20, 2004 meeting. Motion carried 4/0. (Michelle Zaloom & Fred Lee absent from vote) Applications: · DICKERSON PROPERTY: SCTM #: 1000-88-1-10 Location: 680 Jacob's Lane, Southold Zoned: A-C CPF: Yes PDR Acreage: 10.1482 acres Discussed field inspection report made by Ray Huntington, Ray Blum and Craig Arm. Found that structure questioned was not in PDR area. GRIPPA PROPERTY: SCTM #: Location: Zoned: Total Acreage: PDR Acreage: 1000-122-1-2.2 1100 County Route 48, Mattituck R-40 +11.9 acres +9.5 acres Reviewed status of contract and letter received from Grippa's attorney with proposed changes. MOTION made by Ray Blum, seconded by Craig Arm, to allow Grippa's attorney's request to replace wording in our easement with, "(iii) a barn or other shelter for animals, equipment, crops or produce relating to the agricultural use of the property" (LPC adding) shall not exceed a total footprint of ten thousand (lO, O00') square feet and shall not be located closer than fifty (50') feet to County Route 48. Motion carried 5/0. (Free Lee absent from vote) The members entered into EXECUTIVE SESSION. BIDWELL (PIPIA) PROPERTY: SCTM #: 1000-96-4-4.3 Location: 18910 CR 48, Cutchogue Total Acreage: +15 acres PDR Acreage: +12acres Zoned: A-C CPF: Yes Reviewed appraisal. MOTION made by Ray Blum, seconded by Craig Arm, to make an offer to property owner, stipulating "no structures". Motion carried 5/0. (Ray Huntington absent from vote) KRUPSKI PROPERTY: SCTM #: Location: Zoned: CPF: 1000-95-4-9 & 10 Oregon Rd & Depot Lane, Cutchogue A-C Yes Reviewed appraisal. MOTION made by Craig Arm, seconded by John Sepenoski, to make an offer on the Krupski property proposal as outlined by Tim Caufield, Peconic Land Trust. Melissa to prepare Town Board resolution to set public hearing as soon as offer accepted as this deal is time sensitive. Motion carried 6/0. END OF EXECUTIVE SESSION General: · Status Updates Melissa's Status Update report was handed out. · Outreach Members expressed interest in outreach and revisiting several Oregon Rd properties and the Sound Avenue property of Moenius and Sullivan. To be discussed at next meeting. · Ray Huntington's draft letter to Town Board regarding definition on preservation and goals. Ray's draft letter was openly discussed. It was decided that no letter was to be sent to Town Board at this time. Informational: · Meeting with Suffolk County Division of Real Estate, Wednesday, August 11, 2004 Melissa to attend meeting with Tom Isles and Pat Zelinski of Suffolk County Division of Real Estate in an effort to coordinate land preservation efforts with county. Members requested that Melissa obtain a Master "wish" List of properties and more particularly the Master List of Southold Town properties. Annual Fishers Island Town Board meeting will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2004. LPC members instructed to notify Supervisor's office if they plan to attend. Ferry leaves Plum Island Ferry Dock at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Please carpool, if possible. (Committee members attended: Ray Huntington and Eric Keil) Next Regular Meeting: It was agreed that the next meeting tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 17, 2004 would be re-scheduled to the following week.
