3.1 Crane Deli
verses
Most installations require the use of a crane. When a
crane is used for lifting, place the straps under the Fitness
Spa, ensuring that the plumbing lines Q P g and fittings are not
stressed and/or damaged and a spreader is used. The ''J
straps should be secured so that they will not slip in any
direction and strap spreaders utilized to prevent undue
structural side load on the Fitness Spa shell.
3.2 Fork Lift Deliveries
If you are removing the Fitness Spa using a forklift, please
make sure to use 8 — 10' extended forks and pick up spa
at the equipment end.
3.3 Roller Deliveries r .
Although it is recommended to install your Fitness Spa by
crane, it may be pushed along rollers by 10 to 12 able-
bodied adults (see image). If rollers are to be utilized we "
recommend that at least six 4" diameter pipes, 8' long, be
placed under the shell to move it across a soft lawn, down a11,
a path, etc. //i/ii/, U///i i% /i/,
3.4 Warnings!
• Do not move or place the Fitness Spa on its side.
• Never lift or handle the Fitness Spa by its plumbing.
• The Fitness Spas dry weight is in excess of 2,890 Ibs
for for the 17ft. Swim Spa, 2,532 lbs for the 14ft. Swim , ✓
Spa, 1,984 Ibs for the 12ft. Aquacisor, and 1,138 Ibs for

6.1 Equipment Protection
The equipment must be located in an area where it will l

above ground, the factory cabinet is designed for both
protection, insulation and accessibility. When your
Fitness Spa is to be installed fully or partially in the

cabinet, it is necessary that the equipment be installed
in an area that is dry, protected from the elements, has

CLEAR BLUE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
I. Occasionally, you will need to oxidize the water to help break down excess organic matter(i.e.
sweat" makeup, suntan oils). We suggest running your system in conjunction with 0.6 ppm bromine.
Tablets are recommended before liquid as they are extremely stable and slow releasing.
2. beep the total alkalinity between 60 and 12,0 ppm.
, beep pH between 7.2 and 7.6. unlike bromine" ions are pH neutral so they will not change the pH
level of the water but your choice of oxidizer or environmental factors may.
4. Keep total dissolved solids(TD )between 500 and 2000 ppm.
5. You may need to add a clarifier or flocculent if you see cloudy water or fine particles in the water
which the filter cannot catch
NOTE: Stain and Scale or other sequestering products conflict with ClearBlue.
If you use a stain and scale or other sequestering product, it will remove the ClearBlue minerals from the
water and neutralize new minerals for several weeks. Before adding a sequestering product, turn down
the"Ion/Action"setting to 00 to preserve the life of the electrodes. After three to five weeks, you can turn
the controller back on. You will need to ramp up the copper level to 0.2ppm to 0.4ppm.
If you have a serious staining and scaling problem, it can be also treated at the point where the water
enters the swim spa using a metal trap filter. This filter can be attached to the garden hose and will pro-
vide better water quality for your swim spa.
